My work is concerned with conclusions and answers that can be found after a period of investigation into real life experience. I strive to root out truth in my drawing.
Recently I have taken a particular interest in theatrical staging and character development, particularly when it comes to pantomime. These drawings are taken from a series made at the Royal Opera House during a performance of Il Turco in Italia by Gioachino Rossini, and a number of studies made in my living room from a model wearing a jumpsuit with stuck on paper diamonds and a paper hat.
