Andrew Thorpe

Andrew Thorpe is male, is tall, has brown hair, and is sort of chubby and has stupid hair.

Andrews’s style has manifested through his desire to draw and to create images that make people laugh, luring them in to become his friend.

He approaches his drawing with a comical and quirky edge, portraying daily life events and personal encounters. Massively inspired by comic books, such as the Beano and Robert Crumb, Andrew creates humorous outcomes often accompanied by a psychedelic tone enticing you into his imaginary world and love for all things weird and wonderful, and the 60’s culture.

His most recent work portrays his ability to produce images for a serious subject matter, but using humour to celebrate the disability of dyslexia.

Andrew is also part of the EFDEAY Collective, recently formed with peers from Camberwell College of Arts.
